For those of you who don't know the story here is the short version... One day in January, while Owen was going #2 in his diaper, I asked him when he was going to pee and poop on the potty. He replied - In February!! He loves calendars, months, the days of the week and numbers so I thought that it might be true. Since February 1st we have been partly potty trained. The first few days he was very excited. Now that it is sort of old news it is a little more work getting him in there but on our best days we can go all day with no accidents!!! He loves the sticker charts that are in the bathroom and most of all the treats he gets when he goes on the potty :-)

Feb 8th/9th - While Mommy's Away Daddy Will Play-
When I work the weekends the boys get a lot of play time in... There are always cute pictures on the camera when I get home.

February 10th - Happy Birthday Granny Nanny
We went to Granny's to celebrate her birthday. We got Granny a cake and sang Happy Birthday. Will and Max were also there to help us celebrate. That night Granny and Papa gave the boys some Valentines Day treats!!
February 13th - First trip to the Library
Owen really likes to read books. Sometimes it seems like he is sick of the ones that we have - or better yet I am sick of the ones that he picks over and over again to read. We took a trip to the library and he loved it. We looked at books, played with puzzles and other toys. We will be going to the library more often!!

Owen thought it was funny to take a bath with Ethan. This was the first bath they took together and Owen has since decided he doesn't want to take a bath with Ethan any more...not sure why but I think it might be because all Ethan wanted to do was eat the letters and numbers :-)

February 20th- Happy Birthday Benson-
On this snowy blowy Thursday we went to a little impromptu B-Day Party. Owen had a blast celebrating Benson's 4th Birthday with the neighbor kids. Lots of birthdays to celebrate in the years to come!!!
Since it's been so cold we've been hanging out at home quite a bit. Owen got a little silly and decided he wanted to try on my glasses - looks good Big Guy!! We needed to get out of the house so Owen and I went to Costco and decided to eat hot dogs for lunch while we were there :-)

Ethan is getting so big so fast. He is scooting and rolling all over the place. We are almost to the point where we aren't going to be able to take our eyes off of him. Stay tuned for Ethan's 9 months stats...he has his 9 month check up on Wednesday.
All of a sudden Owen likes to help me bake and cook. He says he wants to be "a maker". He likes mixing the ingredients together and eating the chocolate chips while making cookies. We used Granny Joyce's recipe and made daddy cookies to take up north. They turned out very yummy!!
