Snow, Shoveling and Sledding!!

Back in December when it snowed a ton we decided to bundle Owen up and take him outside.  He pretty much hated it.  He didn't like when the falling snow hit his face.  He didn't like that the snow was so deep it was hard to walk through.  He didn't like when his mitten fell off and his hand got wet.  And he really didn't like when the sled tipped and his face hit the snow...

But on Sunday when Mike took him out to shovel they had a blast!!  He loved loved loved it.  The next day he kept saying "mommy shovel".  I tried to explain to him that I don't shovel and he would have to wait for daddy to come home from work.  Hopefully it snows again soon so he can do some more shoveling :-)

Sesame Street Live (aka - ELMO!!)

A couple weeks ago we took Owen to Sesame Street Live - Elmo Can't Stop Singing.  We weren't sure how he was going to do but he LOVED it.  He sat in his chair or stood in front of it the whole time!!  Every time the characters went off stage he would look at us and say "more Elmo".

Before the show we got to see cut outs of all the characters in the lobby.  They all had buttons that you could push and the said a little saying.  He really liked pushing the buttons.

In Big Birds Nest

One of his favorite parts - riding the escalator :-)

And the show begins!!

Christmas 2012

This blog post is a little over due - but I figured better late than never :-)

Christmas is always a busy time of year.  We had 4 different Christmas' this year.  It all started in mid-December with Elhard Christmas.  We got together with the Elhard Family and had a great time.  Owen got a lot of fun new toys, some cash and new clothes!

Cousins - Madison (sleeping) and Tyler

Watching Football!

Boxes are more fun sometimes.

New Toys!!

Jumping on the bed :-)

New toy on this lap for the drive home.

We spent Christmas Eve at home celebrating with Grandma Joyce, Bill, Laura and Sean.  Owen wasn't such a big fan of the camera so we are lacking pictures...

Owen's Presents!

LEGO TRAIN!!

Santa came and brought Owen a kitchen!  He had a good time opening presents from mom and dad Christmas Morning.

Then we headed to Granny and Papa's house to hang out with the Mulliner Family.  In the evening we went to Uncle Randy and Aunt Sherri's to see the Fox Family.

On our way!!

It's hard to get a good one of them all.

Owen loved Will's new drums.
