Ethan - 4 Months Old

Baby Brother Ethan is already 4 months old!!  He is living up to the nick name I gave him... "chunky monkey"!!!  He was 17 lbs. 8 oz. and 26 1/4 inches long (90th percentile for weight and 86th percentile for length).  Even bigger than Owen was at that age.  He was a champ for his shots and barely even winced.  He loves to snuggle, chew on his hand and watch his big brother run around.  He still wakes up at night to eat but is becoming a better sleeper and napper.  His daycare teachers love him - but how couldn't they love a baby that cute!!

Swim Lessons

Its that time of year again - Swim Lessons.  For the first few sessions Owen would barely get in the water.  When I would ask him if we was going to swim he would say "I'm kicking" and that is what he did sat on the side and kicked his feet.  A few sessions in, Ron, his swim teacher finally got him in the water.  He is such a silly boy!!

16 Weeks and on a ROLL

Ethan has started to like his Sophie giraffe toy.  He likes chewing on it and likes to hear it squeak.

Owen (and his entire daycare class) got invited to his friend Nidhi's Bday Party!!  It was at a park in Eden Prairie.  They had a bubble DJ party.  The kids loved dancing, jumping and running with the music and the bubbles!!  It was fun to see all the kids together outside of daycare and it was really nice to meet some of the other parents too.

When I have to work on Preschool days Owen gets to ride the bus from Daycare to Preschool.  He absolutely loves riding the bus!!  He even cried one day when I picked his up from preschool because he wanted to go on the bus.  I am thankful that we go to such an awesome daycare - they took pictures of his first bus ride without me even asking.

Ethan Goes to Daycare

After being off for 16 weeks I had to go back to work.  Ethan had a great first day of daycare!!  He played a lot.  Took a couple of naps and even painted with blue paint.  His teachers love him already.  They even made us a little book of pictures of his first day :-)

First Day of Preschool

Owen was excited for his first day of preschool.   He is in the Iguana class.  He meet his teacher, Mr. Tim, the week before preschool started.  He calls his preschool room the ABC room; most likely because the alphabet is posted in big letters on the wall.  It is room 412 and every time we go he says "find room 4-1-2".  I think he is learning a lot already - he even learned an iguana song.

 Like every mom does, I tried to get him to stand on our front step by my flowers for a picture.  There was no chance that was going to happen.  So this had to do :-)

Twins Game

Mike and Owen had fun at the Twins Game.  They got to sit in the Legends Club (pretty fancy for a 3 year old)!!  They enjoyed some ice cream and had fun walking around the stadium.  Owen was so tired from his big day he fell asleep in the car (which he rarely does) and then he slept on the couch when when he got home (which he's never done).
