Owen's last time sleeping in his helmet! This is Owen sleeping last night - he looks like he is chillin - arms up and legs crossed :-)
CranioCaps and Head MoldsAfter 1 consult with the Craniofacial Nurse Practitioner, 1 CT Scan, 1 consult with the Craniofacial Surgeon, 2 scans for helmet molds, 9 physical therapy appointments, 11 helmet re-adjustment appointments, 2 actual helmets, 17 weeks wearing a helmet and many many stickers...
WE ARE HELMET FREE!!
We had our very last appointment today at Gillette for Owen CranioCap! The Orthotist, Dwight, thinks that Owen's head looks great (and I do too!). He wants him out of the cap so his head can do some shaping on its own before the bones start to fuse together. Way to go! Owen you have been such a trooper through this whole process.
