January 5th- Sick, Sick, Sick
Ethan started off the New Year with a bad cold. He had a fever, cough and a ton of boogers!! I finally took him in and he had a "tiny" ear infection but otherwise just a virus...Poor Baby - he didn't go to daycare for an entire week - it was a long week for me and for Ethan.
Doesn't look sick - thank goodness for medicine!

January 6th- Lego Ramp!
One night Mike decided to make Owen a lego ramp. For the next few nights all Owen wanted to do was make lego train ramps. Each night he wanted them bigger and better. Not sure who was more proud Owen or Daddy :-)
January 8th - Owen Loves Numbers
Owen's love for numbers continues...he has now started to like math.
January 11th - Sledding and Snow Angles

January 14th- Back at Daycare
First day back at daycare after he was so sick. He didn't nap well for them during the day but he was sleeping when we picked him up which is usually not the case.
January 17th - Winter Gala
The KinderCare that we take the boys to holds a Winter Gala every year. It is like a winter program. Each class sings songs for all the parents. Owen was so excited to see all the moms and dads that came to watch. He did a great job singing his songs.

January 19th- A BIG Boy Bath, A Snow Baby, More Sledding and Making A Snow Man - Busy Day!!

January 22nd - Sick Again
Ethan got sick again. This time is was a lot worse. I took him in right away. He had a major double ear infection and RSV. We got stronger antibiotics and a neb. Not to mention he got his 3rd tooth while all of this was going on... He can't catch a break!

January 24th - Painting, Writing and Eating
Owen's newest obsession is writing on his easel. He loves to write numbers (obviously) but he also likes to write the months, days of the week and seasons. Owen also likes to paint which isn't one of my favorite activities. While Owen is busy painting and writing Ethan is learning to eat puffs. He has gaged on a few but he is starting to get the hang of chewing.

January 25th - Is is Spring Yet?
Owen saw he bike and scooter in the storage room and decided he wanted to go for a ride. I think he rode his bike and scooter more in the storage room in one day that he did all last summer.
January 27th - 8 Months Old
The Chunky Monkey is 8 Months Old. He is bigger that Owen was at that age. He loves to chew on any kind of fabric he can get into his mouth. He loves to sit, scream and he has even learned to clap.
