Happy Easter

We hope everyone is having a very Happy Easter!

Ours started last Tuesday.  Owen and baby brother got their Easter Baskets from Granny Nanny and Grandpa Dave :-)

 On Friday Owen, Mike and I decorated Easter Eggs.  Owen wanted the pink bucket and had a great time decorating his pink egg.

Today we woke up and the Easter Bunny left a basket for Owen in our living room and even hid some eggs filled with coins - Owen loves to feed his piggy coins!

Grandma Joyce and Bill came over and brought more treats for Owen and some for mom and dad too!  He is a very spoiled little boy :-)

Letters, Numbers, Shapes and Colors - Oh MY!

Owen loves letters, numbers, shapes and colors.  He loves having us draw letters for him and has even started writing some letters on his own.  He knows what every letter "says".  W says wa wa wa :-)  He can count to 64, count backwards from 15 to 0 and he can count by 2s from 2 to 10.  We have construction paper shapes and colors on our fridge.  He likes to point out what shapes are all around the house and likes to make a diamond with his hands.  He also knows all of his colors including baby blue, "baby green", gray and maroon.  He is our smart little guy (but we are a little biased)!

Williston Treehouse and Cousin Fun!!

Today Will, Max and Granny came over to play.  We took the boys to the Williston Treehouse in Minnetonka!  They had a blast climbing, jumping and sliding!!  Then we went to McDonald's for lunch and the boys got to see Ronald and have ice cream cones.  They had a really fun day :-)

Sledding

On Tuesday, after the big snow, we got invited to go sledding in our neighbors back yard with Owen's friend Benson.  Owen wasn't too sure about getting in the sled at first but then loved it.  He went down a few times despite getting snow in his face every time.
