Will loves his new baby brother!

Owen is not quite sure what to think of the new baby but he is really good at making this cheesy face at the camera lately :-)

He is finally here! Baby Boy Bauer, who actually still remains nameless, came into the world today at 10:56 am. Mike, Owen and I got to meet him shortly after. He is a cute little guy weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and is 20 inches long.

10 months old

Owen is 10 months old today and as happy as a baby could ever be! He got to enjoy his first real bubble bath the other day. He is showing more signs of possibly getting his first tooth and I think he even waved bye-bye to our day care provider today! He is getting to be such a big boy!

Today Mike, and many others, ran in the Get Lucky 7k. It was a little chilly at the start but after the race the weather was great! We even went to Kieran's Irish Pub after the run for a few cocktails. Thanks Auntie Danice for playing with Owen while we were out and about today :-)

Happy St. Patricks Day

We hope everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's Day! Owen woke up earlier than normal this morning so he had some extra time before daycare and daddy thought he should play with all of his green toys :-)

Cranio Cap Update

We had a long Cranio Cap appointment today. We got some good news and some disappointing news.

Good News - his head is shaping really nicely which means the cap is working! We thought we were to the point where we could have Owen wear his Cap just during naps and at night.

Disappointing News - his current Cap is to small and he cant wear it anymore :-( This means he will have a two week break (no cap at all) and will be refitted with his new cap on March 24th. He will have to wear his new cap 22 hours a day for an undetermined amount of time and then will probably, at some point, go to just wearing it during naps and at night.

Right now it sounds like we have 4-8 more weeks of having a Cranio Cap (once he gets his new cap) - which is a little longer that we originally expected but hopefully we will still be Cap Free by Owen's First Birthday which is just around the corner!

Other Good News - He is done with Gillette Physical Therapy for his torticollis! His neck range of motion is perfect and he no longer has a right sided resting head tilt.

We took Owen swimming at the Community Center yesterday. The water was a little chilly so we weren't there long but he didn't seem to mind the pool.
