August 1 - Crazy Driver
Look out this one is on the move! He loves being pushed around and walking behind our neighbors cozy coupe car.
August 3rd - "Water Day"
Every time we fill up the pool Owen calls it "Water Day". He loves having friends over to play in the pool and slide down the Slip 'n Slide! Ethan isn't scared of the water either. He loves to splash and splash and could care less if he gets splashed in the face.
August 5th - National Night Out
The weather was great and we had a lot of fun playing outside at our neighbor hood party. The fire department came by and sprayed the hydrant and the kids got to get in the SWAT team truck.
August 7th - Ethan in the Sand
I finally let Ethan into the sandbox. He still tries to eat the sand but he loves playing in there with Owen.
August 9th - Another Water Day
The Cegla boys came over and we had some water day fun! We ended up hanging out all afternoon and had an impromptu BBQ. It is so much fun having such awesome neighbors!!
August 10th - Peek!
August 11th - Blankie Buddies

August 12th, 13th, 14th - Cabin Fun
We took a trip up to my brother's cabin with Granny and Papa. Owen had a blast playing on the swing set, riding the jet skis, riding his bike, swimming in the pool and the lake, riding on the tube, fishing, eating dinner at Ernie's and going to the jelly bean store! Ethan even had a little bit of fun even though he never really sleeps very well when we aren't at home.
August 16th - More Water Day FUN!!
Another nice day means more water day with neighbors. Owen and Maria had so much fun on the Slip 'n Slide!! Ethan and Micah played with the water table and the Farm kids even joined in on the fun after a nap :-)
August 17th and 20th- Cousin Fun
Granny and Papa were watching the girls for a week. Our house was the drop off point so we got to play while we waited for Granny to pick them up. They cam back later in the week and we went to Round Lake Beach and splash pad. That evening Granny and Papa took the big kids to Chutes and Ladders park while Ethan napped. It was really hot out but they all had a blast!
August 21st- Silly Boys
These boys make me laugh more than once every day :-)
August 23rd - Play Structure and Popsicles
It was super hot out so we headed to the play structure. These two love it there. Ethan loves going down slides! Turns out he likes popsicles too. That evening Ethan had his first popsicle.
August 25th - Boys will be Boys
Should I be worried? The boys came up with this all on their own... I'm a little worried for what they think of down the road!
August 27th - Baseball / Ethan's 15 Months Old
Owen has started to like playing baseball in our backyard. Ethan likes to watch and throw balls. He actually has a good arm on him!
August 30th - Shrimp Boil
A few other families stuck around town for Labor Day Weekend so we decided to do a shrimp boil. The dads went to the store and came home with a ton of food! It was a lot of fun watching the boys cook the delicious food.
