May 1st- Owen's Calendar and Ethan the Crawler/Monster
Owen loves calendars and numbers! On the first day of each month the first thing Owen wants to do is change the calendar.
Ethan is a monster if he is on a mission he will crawl over anything that is in his way!
May 3rd - A Trip to the Park and Lego Fun
May 4th - Danna's 1st Communion
I took the boys to Danna's First Communion while Mike stayed back and ran a half marathon. We also got to meet Baby Nora for the first time!
May 8th - The Dentist and a Wagon Ride
This was Owens 3rd trip to the Dentist. He finally sat in the purple chair. He let them look in his mouth and clean his bottom teeth. Maybe next time he'll let them do the top ones.
May 10th - Happy Mother's Day
The Saturday before Mother's Day the boys and I headed to Hastings to give Mike a day to work on the Deck. Will and Max were there so all the boys got to play. On Mother's Day Granny Joyce, Bill and Auntie Laura came over for lunch. It was a good couple of days hanging out with my boys!!

May 16th - Ethan's First Haircut
Ethan was almost one so we decided he needed a Haircut. He has thin wispy hair on top but long scraggly hair in the back. He loved his Haircut and didn't cry a bit.

May 21st - Pre-School Graduation and A Bike Ride
I can't believe Owen is done with his first year of Preschool! All the kids sang songs and then we had a little "graduation" in Owen's room. He was very excited to see us at school!! The weather was nice that day so we even got to take a bike ride with his training wheel bike.

May 22nd - Happy 4th Birthday Owen
On Owen's Bday we took him to Mall of America to go on some rides. He had a blast!! Granny came to the mall with us and Papa came over that evening for dinner. He was so happy all day on his birthday. He kept saying "it's my birthday, it's my birthday, it's my birthday"! He also said he was the birthdayest boy!! Such a funny 4 year old.

May 23rd - Mommy Goes to Vegas (Daddy and the boys stay home...)
My first trip away from both boys! I left late in the evening on Owen's Birthday to head to vegas for my friend Danielle's Bachelorette Weekend!! The weather was great and we had a lot of fun (maybe a little too much fun!)
Daddy did a good job of holding down the fort while I was away with the girls!! He sent me lots of pics so I knew what they were up to :-)

May 27th - Happy 1st Birthday Ethan
How did that happen? I can't believe my baby is one. He is our chunky monkey. He weighs 24 lbs. 12 oz. and is 31 3/4 inches long. He loves to clap, wave bye-bye and LOVES to eat fruit!!

May 31st - Bounce House Birthday Bash!!
We decided to have a bounce house again this year for the boys' birthday party. Every time Owen talked about his birthday he said "and Im going to jump in a bounce castle" so we figured he would be disappointed if there wasn't one the day of his party. Dispite both boys getting strep and shots of penicillin 24 hours before their party and the rain starting 15 minutes before the party, I think they had a lot of fun celebrating with family and friends! Thanks everyone for making their party a success once again :-)
